Initially a school counselor in the Charlotte Mecklenburg schools, I came from an industy where I was taught to make the client feel safe and comfortable. In today's lending environment, that training is worth it weight in gold with so much fear about getting approved for a mortgage. In 2001, I worked for World Savings Bank as an account executive & mortgage loan officer in South Charlotte until 2006. Following that great experience, I went on to work as a mortgage consultant at HomeServices Lending (a Wells Fargo Joint Venture) inside Prudential real estate at Ballantyne until 2010. For a brief window I also worked with a couple of local correspondent lenders until I found my current home at New American Mortgage.
